CUSTOM FABRICATION PROCESS

These are the steps of the order process

Quote is received and accepted.

STEP 1

STEP 2

A formal purchase order on your letterhead but be received to place an order. It should have the following information:

  • Style/Description of item being ordered.

  • Purchase order Number

  • ​Quantity

  • COM information such as fabric House, fabric name, fabric color and qty) We have a COM form available.

  • If any exposed wood, the finish of your choice.

  • Ship to information

 

STEP 3

Once emailed we will generate a Sales Order for you to review that all of the information is correct. If your item is custom, you will receive a line drawing within 5 business days. This does add to the lead time so be sure to place your orders accordingly. 

STEP 4

Step 4: If this is your first order with us, we can send progress photos starting with frame, followed by upholstery and final photos will be sent once QC approves final inspection. 
 

STEP 5

Accounting will reach out to you if there is a balance to be paid and you can schedule a pick uop as soon as that is cleared.

FRAMING & SUSPENSION
Our standard frames are 4/4 kiln dried alder hardwood, they are glued stapled and doweled. Added corner blocks for extra protection. Our frame has a lifetime of 7 year guarantee. Most of our items have a no-sag continuous wire spring seating.
Upgrades available: Such as 5/4" frame and 8 way hand tied. Dining chairs can be upgraded to oak, walnut or your choice of wood.

FOAM & FILLS 

HR Foam

Our standard foam used is 2.5lb foam with a medium density. Wrapped in a lofty fiber for added plush. 

Polyester

As the name suggests, 100% polyester is used our back pillows. Not too soft or too firm, and no upkeep is needed such as fluffing.

Trillium

Trillium is a man made "gel" like fiber that mimics the feel of feather & down. Best for those that are Hypoallergenic or those against animal cruelty.

Down & feather

Our standard fills for down is a 10/90 which is 10% down and 90% feather, we also have upgraded ratios such as 25/75. Our feather come from white goose. and none exceed 3" in length.
